Contest Terms & Conditions
Spring 2025
- ENTRY Enter by posting a 15–60 second video on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube that showcases how you use the FishAngler app to fish smarter. All entries must include #FAReels, #FishAnglerApp, and #fishingvideos hashtags as well as tag @FishAnglerApp. Entries must be submitted between May 19, 2025 at 12:00am UTC and May 31, 2025 at 11:59pm UTC (the “Contest Period”). NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- ENTRY PERIOD The REEL IT with FishAngler Contest begins at 12:00am UTC on Monday, May 19, 2025, and ends at 11:59pm UTC on Saturday, May 31, 2025. One winner will be announced weekly via FishAngler’s social media and/or in-app within one week of each submission period ending. Participants are encouraged to submit multiple entries, but only one prize will be awarded per person. Winners will be announced weekly. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its discretion, to extend the Contest Deadline at any time in appropriate circumstances and without prior notice.
- PRIZE One Grand Prize winner will be selected each week of the Contest Period, for a total of two winners. Each winner will receive a prize package valued at approximately $338.82, which includes a 1-Year FishAngler VIP Subscription (valued at $83.88), a Mystery Tackle Box™ Elite Box (MSRP $60), a KastKing® Kapstan Elite 3000 Spinning Reel (MSRP $129), and a Rapala® Hat + Lures (MSRP $65.94). Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. All taxes related to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- ELIGIBILITY Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives, of FishAngler/Fishing Spots and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, promotion partners and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of this , and the immediate family members (e.g., spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece, grandparent, in-law, daughter and son, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the same household (whether or not related) of such individuals are not eligible to participate or win. All decisions of the Sponsor with respect to this are final. FishAngler/Fishing Spots shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification from the .
- HOW TO ENTER To enter, participants must use the FishAngler app to explore features such as maps, weather, forecasts, logs, and saved fishing spots. They must then record a 15–60 second video demonstrating how they use the app to fish smarter and post it publicly on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube. The post must tag @FishAnglerApp and include #FAReels, #FishAnglerApp, and #fishingvideos hashtags to qualify. Additional hashtags are encouraged. The post must be public for the entry to be seen and judged.
- SELECTION OF WINNER
- CONDITIONS By entering the , entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules, Terms and Conditions and that FishAngler/Fishing Spots h the irrevocable right to use in perpetuity entrants’ names, user names, likenesses, photographs, voices, home mailing address, biographical and Prize information, and entry materials, without notice to entrants and without compensation or obligation, in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world, in any manner whatsoever, to advertise and promote FishAngler/Fishing Spots, products and services, the , and for any other purpose except where prohibited by law. As a further condition of entering the , to the extent permitted by applicable law, you release and agree to indemnify and hold FishAngler/Fishing Spots harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) and liabilities (including settlements) arising from, or relating to, the breach or alleged breach of these Official Rules, your submission, or your participation in this , or your conduct during and in connection with this . All federal, state and local taxes and fees applicable in connection with the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY By participating, each entrant agrees to comply with these Official Rules and agrees that FishAngler/Fishing Spots is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the . IN NO EVENT WILL FISHANGLER/FISHING SPOTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE , ENTRANT’S SUBMISSION, ANY PRIZE WON, ENTRANT’S ACCESS TO OR USE OF FISHANGLER/FISHING SPOTS WEB SITE, APPLICATIONS OR SERVICES, OR THE ACCESSING, DOWNLOADING AND/OR PRINTING OF ANY MATERIAL AVAILABLE ON SAID SITES, APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON FISHANGLER/FISHING SPOTS WEB SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXCLUSIONS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY.
