Forecast

    • The fishing forecast is an algorithm that is based on the Solunar Theory. The Solunar Theory suggests peak animal and fish movement is based on the position of the moon and sun. You can learn more about the Solunar Theory here.
    • If you click into the Forecast section then the Fish Forecast, you will see a percentage that coincides with an hourly chart. You can slide the screen left or right to display times earlier or later in the day and the percentage values will change. The higher the percentage; the more active fish will be during that time.
    • From the Forecast screen, you can search for your local buoy/station at the top of the screen or change your current location.
    • From the Map screen, you can select tides by zooming in and locating a red pin (buoy/station).
    • To ensure your tide information is populating, make sure your location services or turned on. Or select your Fishing Region in your profile by going to “More” and selecting “Edit Profile”. Scroll down to “Angler Interests” on the “About” tab, and choose “My Fishing Region”. Confirm your location from a 10 to 50 mile radius.
