How to Participate:

  • Log a catch with a photo on the FishAngler app
  • Include species, gear and location
  • Add #Catch24 to your description
  • Earn extra points for catching different species!

How to Earn Points:

  • 15 points per catch (must include species, gear, location)

Earn bonus points for logging multiple fish species:

  • 2 species (25 point bonus)
  • 3 species (50 point bonus)
  • 4 species (75 point bonus)
  • 5 species (100 point bonus)
  • 6 species (125 point bonus)
  • 7 species (150 point bonus)
  • 8 species (175 point bonus)
  • 9 species (200 point bonus)
  • 10+ species (225 point bonus; maximum points)

How Do I Log a Catch on the FishAngler App?

There are four different post types you can make as a FishAngler app user, but only catches count toward the #Catch24 Contest! Make sure to include the gear used and the location of the catch to qualify and earn points.

  • Select the "+" at the bottom of the app screen
  • Select the "Log a Catch" option
  • Choose a photo or video from your library, or take a photo or video
  • Confirm the catch date and time then select "Next"
  • Select the catch location and tap "Next"
  • Select the fish species and select "Next" to continue
  • Complete populating other catch data, including gear used, and select "Next"
  • Add your description, making sure to include #Catch24 in the description
  • Ensure that you answer "Yes" to "Share Post with FishAngler Community", then post your catch!
