FishAngler/Fishing Spots #Catch24 Contest Terms & Conditions
Summer 2024
  1. ENTRY Enter by uploading catches, including #Catch24 in the description, what gear was used, what species caught, and the catch location (earns 15 points), to the FishAngler/Fishing Spots app from August 22, 2024 at 12:00am UTC to September 30, 2024 at 11:59pm UTC (the “Contest Period”). Participants can earn additional points by logging catches with additional species. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. AGE/RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS, VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
  2. ENTRY PERIOD The FishAngler/Fishing Spots #Catch24 Contest will begin at 12:00am UTC on Thursday, August 22, 2024 and all entries must be received by 11:59pm UTC on Saturday, September 30, 2024. Top leaderboard contestants will be announced on the app on Fridays throughout the Contest Period. Grand Prize winners will be announced on the app by October 2, 2024. Entrants are permitted and encouraged to submit multiple catches, including #Catch24 in the post description, gear used, species caught, and catch location, during the Contest Period and earn additional points by logging catches with additional species, to win. Three Grand Prize winners will be identified based on the highest volume of points earned at the culmination of the Contest Period. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its discretion, to extend the Contest Deadline at any time in appropriate circumstances and without prior notice.
  3. PRIZE PACKAGES Three Grand Prize packages will be awarded at the culmination of the Contest Period. Retail value of Grand Prize Packages totals $901.64. Prize Packages are not transferable, and no cash or Prize Package substitution is allowed. Prize Packages are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. All federal, state, provincial and local taxes applicable to the Prize Packages are the sole responsibility of the winners.
  4. ELIGIBILITY Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives, of FishAngler/Fishing Spots and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, promotion partners and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of this Contest, and the immediate family members (e.g., spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece, grandparent, in-law, daughter and son, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the same household (whether or not related) of such individuals are not eligible to participate or win. All decisions of the Sponsor with respect to this Contest are final. FishAngler/Fishing Spots shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification from the Contest.
  5. ENTER BY MOBILE PHONE APPLICATION Beginning at 12:00 a.m. UTC on Thursday, August 22, 2024 users may enter this Contest by posting catches via the FishAngler/Fishing Spots mobile application, and including #Catch24 in the post description, gear used, species caught, and catch location during the Contest Period. Additional points can be earned by logging catches with additional species, during the Contest Period.
  6. SELECTION OF WINNERS Three Grand Prize winners will be identified based on the highest volume of points earned at the culmination of the Contest Period.
  7. RESTRICTIONS The 1st Grand Prize Package: one (1) $250 Rapala e-gift card, one (1) $50 FishAngler Store e-gift card, and 1-year subscription to FishAngler VIP. (Total estimated retail value $383.88.) The 2nd Grand Prize Package: one (1) $150 Rapala e-gift card, one (1) $50 FishAngler Store e-gift card, and 1-year subscription to FishAngler VIP. (Total estimated retail value $283.88.) The 3rd Grand Prize Package consists of: one (1) $100 Rapala e-gift card, one (1) $50 FishAngler Store e-gift card, and 1-year subscription to FishAngler VIP. (Total estimated retail value $233.88.) Winners are determined by highest volume points earned from qualifying activities. Estimated retail value of Prize Packages totals $901.64. If Prize Package(s) cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor, no substitute Prize Package(s) will be awarded due to the unique nature of the Prize Package(s). FishAngler/Fishing Spots shall not be liable to the winner(s) or any person claiming through winner(s) for failure to supply the Prize Package(s) or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, utility failure, internet failure, terrorist acts, threatened terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond FishAngler/Fishing Spots’s control (collectively, “Force Majeure Event”). FishAngler/Fishing Spots shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any acts or omissions whatsoever by the performers/events, other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers, including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same.
  8. CONDITIONS By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules, Terms and Conditions and that FishAngler/Fishing Spots has the irrevocable right to use in perpetuity entrants’ names, user names, likenesses, photographs, voices, home mailing address, biographical and Prize Package information, and entry materials, without notice to entrants and without compensation or obligation, in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world, in any manner whatsoever, to advertise and promote FishAngler/Fishing Spots, it’s products and services, the Contest, and for any other purpose except where prohibited by law. As a further condition of entering the Contest, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you release and agree to indemnify and hold FishAngler/Fishing Spots harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) and liabilities (including settlements) arising from, or relating to, the breach or alleged breach of these Official Rules, your submission, or your participation in this Contest, or your conduct during and in connection with this Contest. All federal, state and local taxes and fees applicable in connection with the Prize Packages are the sole responsibility of the winners.
  9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY By participating, each entrant agrees to comply with these Official Rules and agrees that FishAngler/Fishing Spots is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the Contest. IN NO EVENT WILL FISHANGLER/FISHING SPOTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST, ENTRANT’S SUBMISSION, ANY PRIZE PACKAGE WON, ENTRANT’S ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE FISHANGLER/FISHING SPOTS WEB SITE, APPLICATIONS OR SERVICES, OR THE ACCESSING, DOWNLOADING AND/OR PRINTING OF ANY MATERIAL AVAILABLE ON SAID SITES, APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON FISHANGLER/FISHING SPOTS WEB SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXCLUSIONS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY.
